Default can't get timing right (searched)

i'm doing ingnition timing on a 95 VX, the dizzy was replaced about a month ago.
since thenit's been acting wierd, so i got out the timing light and checked it, it is fully advanced and it's at about 2 degrees BTDC, i took the bolts out ad turned it till it was at 16 degreees BTDC, there is no way i can get bolts in it, what's the deal, i checked the firing order, everything is the same besides the distributor, it's a remanufactured TD-42U.

Is your camshaft timing spot-on?

You can always try drilling out the holes in the dizzy with a drill bit or a dremel.

seems like your cam timing is off by a tooth.

i'll check the cam timing tommorow, but the only thing that has changed is the dizzy, so i doubt it will be the cam timing,
i'll update when i've checked
