My friend has a B18C1 in his '97 CX hb and he has an ITR air box. It fits fine it just doesnt bolt in. He had to rig the mounts to secure it. I dont see why it wouldnt fit with a B16.

Clearance wise, it should be OK; I say that because I am using an EK version of the ARC induction box in my '00 Si and it is larger than the ITR airbox.

regualar intergra box or type r, what sort of mounting bracketts? did the inlet tube and the hole in the fender match? did you retain the stock civic arm? any photographs?

All DC2 air boxes are the same. The only difference is the tube. GSR bends lower, because of the t.b location. LS and ITR have approximately the same t.b. location. The main differences are tube id taper off more rapidly for LS tube. I think 2.5" and 3" respectively. Also there is a resonator before the outlet of the arm for the LS.
Either LS or ITR intake arms can be used for 6th gen civics. The only other problem is the temp sensor, DC2 do not have one on the intake arm. You can punch out a hole into the arm or use the valve cover return hole and send the valve cover return elsewhere. i.e. oill catch can
The inlet tube to the air box routes off the inside and wraps under to the front corner of the bumper, where the aem cai is located. It does not go through the aem cai hole/stock Civic airbox pickup.

If you don't have a LS or ITR intake arm, all 3" short intake for 6th gen Civics will work.
AEM CAI will not work because, it's only 2.5" and the outlet on the DC2 air filter is 3". Most short rams are 3". A cheap shortie will work. I have a Matrix intake arm which also works. $70 with generic filter.
