hey, i need your help, i found a person selling his 2000 honda civic si, he says its bone stock, and he just had it painted and buffed, with 54k miles, he is asking 7.4k, what do you guys say, he says its salvage title due to theft, but recovered? i dont have much time so please help me out here

no pics, no nothing, guy says i can go check it out on monday, but the best offer he has gotten so far is 6.8k so i also figured something was wrong, and you guys do have a point cuz of the paint thing, but im gonna let the car go for now, but im not in a rush to buy a car in general, i just meant that this si was gonna be sold, so.... i am gettin my license in 4 months, less i think, but i am tryin to get an si for myself until then, so later on not now though, if any of you guys know a person sellin an si in the so cal, la area, let me know, u can always e-mail me areg_balayan@charter.net thanks a lot

You'll have too many headaches down the road dealing with the salvage title, all the way from insurance issues to reselling the car. IMO, it wouldn't be worth the saving of a couple thousands bucks.
