can i use my y5 harness on a y8
i am swapping in a complete y8 into my ek y5 i was wondering if i could use the same wireharness and just plug in a p2p. and before i put the motor in what can i do to increase hp cheap....

i have a 96 hx y5 5sd the y8 is a 96 out of a ex auto. but now i have a option to get a d16a6 short blockvery cheap,(mini me) and i think i will put that under my y5 and just keep it simple. The reason for switching blocks is my d16y5(202000miles) has a oil leak from the head and has only 130psi comp.
