Default Can I use my usdm H22 ecu/trans with a JDM h22a?

I fried my original motor and am looking at a JDM h22a and just want to make sure that I can use them all together. I just want to avoid the JDM ecu b/c of the rumored 120 speed limiter, and I just spent $3k on building the original trans with an LSD, clutch, fw, axles.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Are JDM and USDM ecu's the same? I assumed a difference b/c of the compression difference.

Works fine. If you advance your timing a smidge, it'll be closer to the stock timing and jdm ecu.
