Can/How to start a car that was stolen?
I am looking at a 2000 civic hatch. It was stolen and the ignition is all ripped apart. (It was recovered and is on a auction site). I can see a wire was cut in half (Maybe how they started it). Or what would be needed to get it fixed? New ignition? Thanks guys

New ignition will likely be needed because they needed to bypass the steering wheel lock somehow. Usually that involves destroying the lock. If the thief forced the wheel to turn, You'll likely have steering column damage which will also need to be replaced. If you buy it, PM Me a picture of your receipt for it next to the VIN and I'd be more than willing to tell you how to at least temporarily make it run and drive.
Most people here won't openly tell you how to do this just because we don't like our cars stolen any more than they already are.
