yes...you will need an MSD RPM activated switch...and then buy an LED to put in the cluster (sort of like a VTEC light) and connect them

sounds like someone is getting a b-series swap in a base model civic. what do b16 ecu's usually rev-limit at? im still running my shitty d16 on mine and just wondered. also what do gsr ecus(obd1) rev-limit at? thanks and sorry for hijacking the thred

Or even better, it could be someone building their D Series to rev to 8300rpm or more.

And also, the "shitty" D16 P28 ecu is the most common used, even in B Series swaps. Most people just chip them or get a Hondata. But if you must have the GSR ecu, they rev limit at 8200 rpm I believe.
Or even better, it could be someone building their D Series to rev to 8300rpm or more.
