Can anyone recommend a good brand of aftermarket radiator for my eg hatch build?
Can anyone recommend a good brand of aftermarket radiator for my hatch build? There are so many to choose from and I'm not sure of differences. Do any of them have QC problems or just plain cheap?! Help! Lol

Mishimoto and Koyo would be the best, cheapest, reliable ones to go with. As far as quality but slightly more expensive, I would go with Fluidyne.

mishimoto is definately the cheapest.
but i wouldn't say koyo is on the same level.
either way i have a mishi no leaks and works just fine. as of 6-7 months ago.

C&R is the best as far as i'm concerned...
however, i have run several aluminum radiators off of ebay with no issues. have a 4 row in my hatch right now, and have had no issues in the last 6 months... and it was $85 shipped...

*** Stupid question alert ***
What is exactly a dual core radiator? How can I determine whether an aluminium radiator I am considering purchasing is dual core?
I have an idea on what the answer is going to be, but I want to make sure rather than jumping to conclusions.
Thanks,
-Walter

any aluminium dual core will work. blackworks or mishimoto are the cheaper but either are still good quality, koyo and fluidyne are more expensive and probably alil better quality but i dont think enough to warrant the extra cost.

a dual core is thicker easiest way to tell.
