which cams?
I just bought a new engine and the guy said he put Type R cams and I dont really beleive him....how do I go about checking the...I open the valve cover and what should I look for ?

pop off your valve cover and if you are facing the engine bay remove the last cam caps to your left or the the caps that are right by your distributor and Vtec Solenoid
then compare the ends with these

If you search around on here, you'll find threads on how to identify cams. I'm not sure if you can simply take the valve cover off though, you may have to remove the cams completely, and look at the ends.
