Default Caliper pin from 93 Civic SI brakes same as 96 Integra??

I have a 93 civic HB, that I swapped in rear disk brakes from a 96 Integra.

Last night I broke a bolt off that holds the caliper pin on the caliper mount. So I need a new bolt and caliper pin.

See the link below. This is a diagram from a 93 Civic SI. That part I am referring to that I need to replace is part # 22.

http://www.hondaautomotivepart...SK%29

Can I order that part from a Civic SI, and it fit like a glove on the 96 Integra brake parts I have installed?

I wasn't sure if the parts were inter-changeable like that.

Thanks.

call your local parts store tell them you need a slide pin kit of a 93 Si and have them check to see if the slide pin kit for the 96 teg with rear disk uses the same kit. Try a place like NAPA I know they carry the kit for the 93 si

or you can order both pins from the dealership then compare it with your broken one. you wont be charged unless the package is opened, and even then the dealership will accept the return. i do it all the time

then let us know (bah you'll forget to tell us )

one last thing when you do replace the parts make sure and use the new rubber guide/ seal. Make sure that you degrease and scrub the crud out of the slide pin hole. Relube the pin with a good quality synthetic brake slide pin lube and seat the rib on the guide/ seal into the grove on the bracket. Be careful with the new guide/seal DO NOT get any petroleum based lube on them. They will swell and bind. These rear brake are a bitch to keep the pins from seizing. I relube the sliders once a year when the car goes in for inspection. Of course I live in the NE road salt winters.

Napa couldn't tell me squat..said I would have to bring the caliper pin in and compare it to a giant book of brake parts. heh. No thanks.

Pepboys, however, have the caliper pin kits [pins and bolts] in stock for $9, AND, it turns out the KIT used for the 93 Civic SI is the SAME KIT used for the 96 Integra.

So, there you have it folks. Good stuff!
