Default A/C Removal ?

I know this is just a simple answer, but I'm just being safe and sure. Is it possible to remove the A/C compressor W/O discharging it while doing a swap?? I'm swapping out my y8 and getting the car painted and ready for a GSR swap.

ok so lemme make sure we're on the same page....i wanna leave my A/C charged, so i cant undo the bolts that bolt it on to the A/C bracket??? I was gonna tie it out of the way once i got it off and bolt it back on to the GSR once the car is painted.

so just undo the bolts and tie it out of the way correct?

Yep, thats all I ever did. I've never had to discharge an A/C system to do an engine swap on a civic, just tie the compressor up out of the way.
