Hi Guys,

I have a big problem and i have no idea to solve it, maybe you can help me out.

First, i had a 95er EJ2 with a d15b7 engine incl. A/C

... but i liked to be a little more faster, so i did a order for an B16A Frontclip from Japan. So the swap cames with a full A/C on it but i didnt care about it at this point.

I swaped in the B16A and a new OBD1 VTI Harness and until there it was no problem, but now after i decided to have a A/C again, the trouble started !


My Problem is that the old D15B7 Compressor Bracket doesnt fit on the B16A Block and when i take the oem B16A Compressor Bracket the old D15B7 Compresssor doesnt fit on the bracket. Lol i really started to worry about that, because the RHD A/C Pipes and Hoses dosent fit for my LHD Chassis and the LHD Hoses doesnt fit on the B16A Compressor.

I dont know if the problem is with the Compressor because it cames of a RHD or that the D-Motor Hoses/Pipes doesnt fit with any B-Motor Compressor.


I know its a little bit confusioning, because my english gramma isnt the best, but maybe you can help me and i would be so glade.

You want the A/C bracket from a '94 - '97 Del Sol VTEC bolts up to a B-series engine and D-series A/C compressor.

Ok that seems to Be a problem. Do you think the D-Compressor
fits on a B-Bracket of an 94-97 vti Sol and only Sol ? no eg6, eg9 etc. ?

Over here in north america the only thing we got with a B-series that used a D-series A/C compressor was the Del Sol VTEC. We never got a '92 - '95 civic with a B-series engine like most of the rest of the world so I honestly couldn't tell you if the EG6/EG9s use the same bracket or not.
