A/C/ problem!!

A/C/ problem!!
ok.. i was coming home from school and some old guy was driving SUPER slow.. so i switched lanes and gunned it pretty hard and went by him (Note: the air conditioning is on the whole time) so i was goin pretty fast and reached a red light
when i stopped i heard this nasty klunking noise coming from under the hood and when i turned the A/C off it stopped... NOW when everytime i turn my A/C on it makes the nasty noise.. does anyone know what could be wrong??

and about your a/c. double check everything belt, bolt, and wiring . had a similar problem where the tensioner bolt to the compressor came off.
