Default C Pillar Tie Bar - - works great for chassis rigidity

At work I made one of these for my EG Hatch, out of 6061 aluminum. Just figured some of you might be interested that it did make the car feel more rigid and added a small bit more tail happiness. Now I have to find out where the new squeaks and creaks are coming from. Here is a link to the photos and below is one good pic of the bar installed if you are too lazy to follow the link

Owen,

Did it really make a difference above and beyond the cage?

Yep, feels even more rigid around corners when there are bumps to go over.
That is just a 4pt Autopower race-rollbar model, not an entire cage.
Yes I plan on making a few more of these but this design does not allow the rear seatbelts to be used, so its a race model only, for me but for some other people.
Thanks guys, I had hoped it would turn out as well as it did

slowerthanu, quit pickin' on me! lol, I got no time or energy to fight that rust and clean the hatch hinges... also I have fears of switching to the "show" side of things when I clean my car , so I like to keep it extry-grubby
