A/C & P/S removal questions
hey guys, i know it has been written up multiple times but i have a few questions about my own situation.
I have been without A/C since last year because when i bought my car the A/C compressor is broken, i was told it is around 200-300 for a new compressor which i dont really care to spend lol. Im trying to decide if i should fix the a/c or just take the whole unit out. I dont really race. moreso just drive fast here and there haha i read that it is only 30 or 40 lbs gone once you remove the a/c but i like the idea of having a bit of a cleaner engine bay and a little weight reduction. I was wondering if you lose anything besides the a/c if you remove the unit. and do you guys think its worth it?
Also, if im going this i was thinking about taking out my p/s. I have not driven a car without p/s before but im sure i can handle it. how brutal is it for anyone that has done this.
sorry for more then likely reposting thanks for any help you guys can give.

Re: A/C & P/S removal questions
If you don't plan on using a/c at all it is deffinately worth it for the reasons you already listed, minimal weight reduction and a cleaner bay.
