a/c help asap please
so i was taking the windshield washer fluid tank out and one of the ac lines were loose on the collector thing right behind the washer fluid tank. the o ring blew and freon sprayed everywhere. i went to the hardware store and bought the o ring set for the ac system and replaced the o ring. question is how do i charge up the system. im going to advance in a little bit and buying some freon but how do i fill it? do i put some in the high side and some in the low side or what? there is no freon at all in the system as of right now. sorry if its confusing. the car is a 94 civic hatch

Re: a/c help asap please
When the A/C system has been opened, air and moisture enter the system. This is bad. Therefore, the system must be drained and evacuated before recharging with the proper volume of refrigerant. A local shop can do this for you for a charge. Shop around for the best price.
