A/C Compressor question
Hi everyone ! About 4 years ago i had a honda 91 honda crx. By then i remembered that they came with two types of compressor, the masushita or the sanders. I now have a 94 honda civic dx and i would like to know if they have the same pattern with two different compressor or is it one across 92-2000 civic with d-series engine ?
My second question is about the a/c system on my car. I have done all the check up necessary, folowwin g instruction on a service manual. I'm stuck in a part where it says to check the gap of the clutch on the compressor. if i plug straight the red wire from the compressor to the battery i can hear the click of an engaging clutch... but i can't actually see the movement of it as i used to see when i had my crx. When the car is on ... and try this i hear a weird noise from the compressor and the car starts to die. Most likely i have a bad a/c compressor ???
Thank you in advance
