a/c car problems
i got a 95 civic dx a couple weeks ago and the a/c didnt work but i found out it was just the belt was missing so i took it to the shop and had them put in a belt for me. After it was put in it only blows out air on 4 and when im driving the car it acts really gay with the a/c on what can the problem be??

Re: a/c car problems (honda305)
First off I cant believe you took your car to have a belt put on lol but not everyone is mechanically inclined so im going to leave that alone. Might be something wrong with the climate control switches. Easiest way to figure that out would be to put another one in to test it out. By car acting "gay" im assuming you mean the huge loss in hp due to running your ac. Hate to tell you this but thats life. Ive heard ac takes about 20 hp to run and with our motors that a lot.

it's a blower motor resisitor... it's a a easy fix if you know what your doing. although... you had someone else change you drive belts, so take it back to the Honda dealer and pay the $100 for the part and another $100 (minimum) for the labor.
problem solved, good nite.

really..why are you asking for help now that you already wasted 300 dollars? Spend some more and dont worry about it. Plus your description SUCKS...wtf is being gay? I know its cool to say that in high school, but not when you are seeking REAL advice.
