well honestly, it does vary where u go. i went to a russian place 2 weeks ago and they said 4000! i was like wtf.. 1 block down from there i got a quote for 1000. i've searched a lot of areas from modesto to sac town... lowest i got was 900. highest i got was 4000! so it depends. also depends on year of motor. i was asking for 96 and up... 94/95 should be a bit cheaper. but yeah, best bet is look around local junkyards.. its cheaper..

um yes 96up are obd2. thats what i was looking for. i had a 96. and yes 96 and up cost more cause they have less mileage on them. i'll buy a 01 over a 94/95 any day..

yeah fair price. and good things with junkyards is that if its still in the car u can compression test, check cels, blah blah blah.. and they have warranties on engine and transmission so its all good. and yes, its a good price.. im getting the next one on friday..
