DX Hybridizer

Is there anything further to do besides what I have listed below?

-Timing Belt
-Spark Plugs
-Serpentine belts
-Valve Adjustment
-Water pump Is this really needed at this point?
-the obvious fluid flushs.....
-Check all hoses and mounts to ensure there in solid shape.

Is there anything else to do? I'm doing this for a good friend of mine she isn't a performance buff. And I want to ensure this last her a long time. Is the water pump a should do thing? The motor is a JDM d motor with between 30K-40K miles.

I just had one. Timing belt. Plugs. (serpentine belts??? there are none)
Valve adjustemt.
Oil Filter.
Intake gasket
Exhaust gasket
(used my current manifolds instead of the ones that came with the engine)
Checked all vaccum lines. Replaced with Silicon hoses.

Edit: Flywheel resurfaced and clutch.

Who cares.

D16Y5, Y7, Y8, Z6, A6 there all the same when it comes to replacement stuff at 30,000

EDIT: Oh yeah, rotor, cap.....I don't have the list of parts with me but, it added up......

Yeah there all the same really. It's a d16b7 or 8 forgot dx/lx motor. I didn't think of the manifold gaskets good idea thanks! I meantthe acces. belts my applogy.

IS the waterpump a good idea or it'll be fine for awhile. And it'll be a auto so no worries on the clutch or flywheel.

I'm sure it'll add up but not biggie as it's all being paid for in the end by the owner of the car. I'm just the mechanic on the job.

No don't do the water pump.

with 30,000 miles, I would only worry about the valve adjustment and tune up. but if you feel like you need to change the timing belt.... go for it.

might has well change the water pump since you will have that end of the engine apart anyways, to go back and do it would be kinda hassle.

yes, change the water pump its only four bolts, and its much easier off the car. might as well do all the belts, is shouldn't take you more than 30 mins and its better to do it now than later.

A compression test wouldn't hurt to do.

Got the tester ready. My question is before I actually install it can I get a solid compression test out of it cranking it with a wrench???? Or is the only way to accuratly measure by doing it with the car running on it's own power? Forgive me if I'm moving in the direction of a forum like the tech forum.
