Buying a 94 Civic....
Hey I am buying a 94 civic, 5 spd coupe, with 128K Miles on it for 3,000$.
I believe I am getting a pretty good deal for that... but I also plan on swapping the motor out of it.
I know b16 engines are pretty good but i dont know a whole lot about them...so what do you guys think is a good motor for that type of car? And where to get them for a good price??
Thanks,
Rob

Well since it is a coupe a b16 won't feel near as powerful in it as compared to a lighter car. I would suggest a gs-r swap if you have the cash to put down. The extra torque will make the heavier coupe move a bit more. Also, all the integra motor mounts will work for the 94 coupe so the swap will be direct and pretty straight foward.
Some places to get gs-r (b18c1) swaps are http://www.jdmshit.com , http://www.passwordjdm.com , there are a few more that you should be able to find from searching. Those websites will charge a bit much, so I would also check out http://www.hondamarketplace.com for some good deals
