Default Buyin a hatch!!!!!!!!!!

I'm about to pick up another hatch. Its an si with a salvage title.Car was salvage due to theft and strip interior.Car is in ok condition but driver side key hole is all mess up.Beside that the car is kool.Is $2500 too much for this car or is it just the right price. If not how much should I offer the guy.Its a teal 92 si with about 135k.Let me know what you guys think.TIA.

Price is kinda high, but it totally depends on the market where you live. Some people in the middle of no where find great deals on hella clean cars others (like me) just have to find the best deal out of all the overpriced cars that are available.

My $0.02

It wouldn't because I had a salvage hatch before and it was pretty cheap for insurance.

Not true. it won't cost any more to insure. My old civic had a salvage title. not difference in insurance premiums. it was actually cheaper than my current civic w/o a salvage title.

it really depends on where your at, I just bought a 94 ex fom auction for 1700 then sold it a week later for 3100. It was a theft and I fixed it for the most part but there were still a couple odds and ends that needed to be done. Just look in the auto trader and see how much that type of vehicle sells for in your area, compare your price to those and that should tell you if its a good deal or not
