Burning Smell
Is it typical for this to happened after u have installed a brand new exhaust?
I just put on my apexi n1 on my 99 ex and it stinks. Its not hitting anything also.

Yes, because your exhaust is just being broken in. It should be like that for a week. Also, you might notice the sound difference.

"Good or Bad" is kind of a subjective judgement. It'll sound more full because all the packing cubes and **** will have settled by then, but it may sound inferior to the barnd new sound depending on what you like.

I used to have an N1 style, liked it for the first...week, then finally replaced it with an Apexi WS. .
Also, yes, the smell is normal, I believe it's this coating inside the exhaust that the manufacturer puts inside to prevent rust & other things while it's sitting in the warehouse.
