Bumper before / after pics
I have a SF2 front bumper that I am putting on my car (along with freshening up all the side skirts and rear ground affects). The bumper and the affects weren't in the best of shape when I bought the car a while ago, so I decided to do some work and get them looking good. I'll have the pieces installed this weekend (this week I've been working 12 hour days so it's not happening after I get home from working all day). Anyway, here are progress pics:
PS: I used Vette-fill on the bumper instead of regular bondo for obvious reasons.

rice represent!
I am still debating on whether to try to fix my split in half front bumper or to just replace it. has like 3" of bondo on the back.

Anyone know how I could go about putting back together a bumper that was split in half? I have bondo and fiberglass resin.

duck tape IF you cant duck it, **** it!
BTW: ifs its a kit, toss it, and if its stock you can toss the fiberglass **** and bondo, bondo wont hold **** together, go to liek advanced auot or auto zone and pick up some Permatex Permapoxy 5 min plastic weld!! works great, i used it on my DD

That's a nice *** paint job. I wish I could do that. I have a chip of paint missing off the side of my car then it was keyed and because it's lowered, I tore a piece of paint off the front

Sorry about posting it here. I'll post pics of the parts installed in the appearance forum next time.
That's my dad painting the parts. He works in a spray booth 40 hours a week and can lay down some seriously nice paint.
...and yeah, I thought that last pic came out great.
And about which SFI or SFII front bumper it is...'hell if I know. I looked around on web sites and they list my bumper as both of them (pics are identicle). Either way, that's the bumper with the Erebuni (sp?) side skirts and rear that will be installed. I'll hopefully post pics of it installed today!
