Built stock motor or RSX swap?
Ok so a friend of mine has a 92 civic lx with a greddy turbo kit. He was wondering if he should build the motor to get some more power with rods and pistons and mabe some headwork. He has no V-tech. I suggested he should do the RSX engine with the 220 horse and they come with the 6 speed drivetrain correct? Sorry I am not too familair with the honda community so I might be wrong. Well I posted on here to see what you guys think. Build the motor or do the RSX Swap? Also how much would each one of the setups cost me...? Thx for all the help

No matter the cost, the k20 would have the best power. Those engines respond to any performance addition (bolt-ons included) so well it's rediculous. Depending on how hard you look it could cost anywhere from $5000 - $10,000 for the swap. The more work you do yourself the cheaper it will be.

Welcome to H-T, and to save yourself from the flame, it's V-TEC, no "H" at the end.
I'd do a k20 swap, like SOHC4life 96 says, all engines have their limits.
