i changed from my crappy dc 4-1 to a vibrant 4-2-1 w/2.5" collector (jun copy) and noticed a nice difference. Didn't break the bank either.

i havent heard that many great things about vibrant but if ur gonna spend the money on a 13.1 CR b20vtec you may as well finish out the job right. SMSP, AN-R

Yes - SMS Products

I highly recommend going with an SMSP unit.

Its starting to come down between hytech and smsp.. sticking with around $800 would any one recommend the mild steel with the ceramic coat for $780 over hytech?? or spend the extra cash and get their stainless steel..

Ive been looking for a New Header as well for my Built B20vtec. Glad I seen this. I didnt know what other brands to look for, for a Header. I also have a Crapy Dc 4-1.

They talk about Headers all day long in the "All Motor" forum. SMSP and AN-R both have reps their that show their new products, and dyno results. Thats the best place to look for Header info that I've found.

SMSP's coated mild steel header will be a good choice. The coating provides good protection and heat retention, and if you ever want to freshen it up in a few years, you can always have it recoated for reasonably low cost, leaving you with a like-new header again.

Well, the difference between the mild steel 1-piece header and the stainless steel multi-piece header is not simply the material used, but also the design and construction of the units. The multi-piece stainless header will be the better performer, but whether or not that additional performance and the fact that it is 100% stainless is worth the added cost is something that you have to decide for yourself. Keep in mind that either header will be a great one, so you really can't make a bad choice.
