built head? you have no clue what you're talking about do ya?

what are you going, depending on NA nitrous or turbo all your cam lift variations will be difrrent, springs, retainers can be done there are soo many variations to bulding motors that you simply cannot put ya to build a head its 1000............arent you the same one that says a k24/k20 hybrid is not as "quick and reliable" as a d16z6 build?

^^ Haha... im a fan. Maybe you need some reading comprehension . I am the same person that said that a k24/k20 will not make as much whp as a Bseries engine for the $$$. I'll take my noob ***, have a mechanic build my engine (turbo'd) and put down more whp for the $$ than you will with your almighty K24/K20 swap. And it will just **** you off because im just one of those guys who doesnt work on his car because im a "bench racer" and not a real "tuner". And both of those things mean so much to me and everyone else in the world. Anyhow, if you would like to talk more... you can come pay me a visit.

OP: figure out what your plans are first...

LMAO thanks 95Project for that laugh. really, what are you doing giving advice? You a lame *** noob who knows nothing of motors.

OP: if you bother with the head, then you might as well go with the bottom end as well.

And you are.....100% right.

B series + turbo + pro shop installed = K20/K24 Hybrid OWNAGE for LESS money.

Haha. I hate the K with a passion.

Thank you. When it comes down to the whp to $$$ ratio a K20 or K24hybrid swap will lose to a turbo B everytime.

k series are serious money to invest your lookin at around $9000 for complete swap maybe and only guaranteed 210-220 hp so if anything go turbo or allmotor b or if you have the money do a k and put some bolt ons and try out the new technology

He says he hates the K. He's just angry at all the people who are close minded and think the k-swap is the best swap ever or that it's the only swap worth doing.

The K24/K20head setup can be a lot cheaper than people think, but back to the B16 thread.

I would still like to know a price, anyhow. I agree, back to the thread.

OP: Can you please provide us with some information? What are your plans for this car and in terms of that, what are your whp goals?

Having your head "built" may not be necessary depending on what you are planning to do.

no matter how expensive the K-Series is, its a far better motor then any B-Series out there, I've seen stock block K20 take 36psi but 37psi blow up, so don't go dissing the K becuase its expensive and its worth the money if you want to be fast, not just half-fast so if you want to be Serious about going fast go K and no B

But don't get me wrong i don't have the money for a K and all i've got is a D15b, and plan on doing a B16 swap sometime over the winter because well a B16 has got more alot more V-TACK then my D15b

wow..... just wow..

haha that funny, so you have seen it take 36lbs of boot but then it blew at 37lbs. why dont you just save up and buy a K-series swap if they are far better than a B-series. then you say you are going to get a b-16 swap.

Please, lets not start another argument in this thread. A B18b1-T hitting 400whp or any other turbo'd Bseries should not be considered "half fast". I see your point, but this is going to start another argument. I dont want to explain myself.

Hurry up OP and answer the question

Only problem is that he live in CA and LSVtec/CRVtec motors do not pass smog. Even a build n/a B16 is going to fail emissions and possibly visual if the wrong parts are purchased (fuel rail, IM, I/H etc)
