Default Brighter headlights?

I have the stock headlights in my 98 civic and they just aren't bright enough. And they don't provide the color of light I want. I want a pure white, no blue, no yellow. However, I don't want to use HIDs. Any suggestions? Any replacement bulbs that are good?

HID knock off bulbs. Just the bulbs. I used to get mine on EBAY before I got hooked on HID. Search around on there for your bulb type

The blue tinted light bulbs will give you that white color. But anything that's not clear will be less light output no matter what anyone says. You can get a bigger harness and run higher wattage bulbs, but that might melt your housing.

Also get your headlights buffed, it helps a lot if they're hazy

look at a 4300K HID bulb. i have these in my tahoe and they are pure white. no blue at all. very bright as well.

i know you said no HID's but the ricer blue color is usually 6000k or 8000k. that number is the color of the bulb.

Don't listen to any of the above posts. Philips xtreme vision/power.

I got mine for $35 shipped from Amazon.com. If you want HID, you have to retrofit projectors or you will blind other drivers. This is the best NON-HID bulb you can get. This is what the light looks like. Be sure to remove any film/haze from your headlights.

Thank you furious94ls, that is exactly what I was looking for.

And dlstech, my right headlight desperately needs cleaning, it's very hazy. However, the left side is perfect.
