Brembo Brakes on Civic/Del Sol?
I. Know i guy that wreched his Camaro SS (they come with brembos) and he bought it back from insurance compnay after wreck.
So my question here is......how hard (if possible) would it be to maybe convert or make them work on my vehicle?
i know it might be far fetched, but figured since he is parting it out i might take advantage of it by jumping on the brakes.
Thanks for your time fellas! :D

You need 20" wheels to clear those brakes.
Do you realize how retarded that would look?
Not to mention I don't even think you'd even be able to fit those brakes onto the knuckle without some huge spacers.

Definitely not worth the time or effort to even try adapting the Camaro SS front end to the civic for the brakes.
However, if you want a very nice upgrade, there is always Wilwood:
Wilwood High-Performance Disc Brakes - Honda Civic Disc Brakes
Their 4 piston calipers are a definite improvement and Wilwood tends to be what current muscle car rebuilders use now a days.

If you can get them cheap, you can give it a try. If it doesn't work out, you can sell them to another Chevy owner.
3 issues off top of my head:
1) you'll most likely need adapters to fit the caliper on civic's wheel hub
2) wheels will have to be large enough to clear the calipers. I know some Porsche brembos will clear VW 18" wheels, so I'd assume you need at least that
3) since you're putting larger calipers you'll need larger rotors...and compared to stock rotors these will be huge with a lot of additional weight. more weight = more power needed to spin them.
As mentioned above, Wilwood would probably be better option if you really want those cool looking after market calipers. Or Maybe Cobalt SS calipers would fit?
