Hello.

I just installed a replacement CV shaft because the boot was ripped on my old one and it had collected more than enough dust and debris to warrant a new one.

The car has been fine for the last 4 days since the axle was replaced.

Just as a note, the car is a turbo'd B18C and does not have power steering.

Today, on my lunch break at work, I started hearing loud pinging noises when I turn left. Each time the noise happens, the steering wheel jerks to the right and wants to straighten out. It started only making this noise and jerking the steering when I took hard lefts, but now even the slightest left turn will provoke pings and steering jerks.

I've wheel hopped a couple times since the install, but not severely.

I have not gotten a chance to get under the car yet, but does anybody have any ideas as to what this could be?

Checked it out... it's the other one -_- Guess that happens when the car sits for 3 years.
