im assuming, since your asking, it'll be a real tough job.

how about i'm asking because i never changed rotors before
the process is pretty stright foward but are there bolts (or anything of that nature)
that would cause me difficulty?
thanks for the smartass reply though

if its jus the rotor it will be hella easy. jus get the caliper off the rotor and swing it outta the way....replace the rotor then put the caliper back on. there are no surprises. its pretty straight forward. if you do change the calipers you will have to bleed the brakes u kno this? wich is also pretty easy but tricky if you have never done it before. get a manual and read the process. you will need 2 people for that.

If the newer accord still uses the hub-over-rotor design, then they're a royal pain in the ***.
If its a civic you'll need some PB blaster, and impact screwdriver, a pair of M8x1.25 bolts and a hammer.

Resonably stright forward if the rotor is NOT pressed to the hub, just like DubbleD states, swing caliper out of the way, replace rotor. - I would also suggest replacing the pads. Then tell your cousin to take it easy on the brakes for a 200 - 300 mile break in period - if not your will be replacing the rotors again in short order.

I replaced my wheel bearings this weekend, so I had to pull the hub assembly and rotors off. IT WAS A HUGE PAIN IN THE ***. The impact screwdriver got both screws out of one rotor, and one off of the other rotor. The other screw would not budge. It broke three impact screwdriver heads. I ended up having to break the head of the screw off. My point, something will come up, it always does. Try to plan accordingly.
