Brake pad Q's for 94 civic ex coupe w/o abs
i just got off of the phone with larry from carbotech. i was inquiring into some of the new axxis ultimate pads that they carry. on the website it had stated that for model year 1995 civic that the part number CT617 was $62.85. i had assumed that this was the correct part. he told me that i really needed model numer CT621 which runs $92.85. this number is listed under the 94-95 civic del sol. is this because of the larger 10.3" rotors on my car as opposed to the 9.4" ones? now, what i need to know is who here has a 94 ex coupe that has bought new pads recently. have you found that are hard to find for your particular car or that they are much more expensive. i cant seem to justify the extra $30 for what seems to be a slightly different design in the pad. i thought that these pads would be the way to go but i really dont want to spend all that money on them. here is a link to the website with all the part numbers and prices. let me know what you guys think.......thanks.

Re: Brake pad Q's for 94 civic ex coupe w/o abs (deviant94ex)
yeah, the applications on the site are a lil confusing since civics came w/ different size brakes at the same years and it doesn't really designate which part number is for what specific civic model (and thus brake size). If Andie said it was the del sol one, that's probably what they meant on their site to represent 10.3" front honda brakes, as opposed to the 9.5" versions. Try calling around, you may be able to find better deals elsewhere or locally. I found a pretty good price locally (hopefully they didn't give me the price for the wrong brakes), but the wait was too long for me so I went with AEM's...not all that, but a mild improvement over stock and it's only my daily driver (to and fro work....argh...work!).
