Default Brake lights not working any ideas? already checked blub and fuses

I have a 92 civic hatchback, b16a2 swapped in, My brake lights have stopped working, the tail lights light up, but the 2nd element does not, I checked the bulbs and fuses in my friends 95 hatchback, and everything worked, I checked the underdash brake light switch, but dont know what im doing there..i just pushed it in and out ...if anyone knows what might be the problem please let me know, if wiring, where would I check this at? both lights do not work and the spoiler light does not work either, thanks!

Sounds like it might be the brake light switch. If you have access to another brake light switch, try plugging it in to the vehicle and see what happens.
