Brake lights come on when im driving.
I just got done doing a full 2001 gsr brake swap to my 94 civic hatch. I had a wrecked 2001 gsr and i just used all of the parts ie. arms, brake master cylinder, brakebooster.
also i got done putting a d16z6 in the 94 civic too. now when i drive the brake lights come on and i have no clue whats going on, it will go out after ahile but the brake lights come back on. anybody experience this? let me clarify not my brake lights from the rear the brake lights from my cluster.

did you swap in the GSR cluster? My "brake" light comes on but it's because we reversed the "check engine" and "brake" lights because the wire colors were basically identical. [orange with green stripe and red with green stripe]

Shouldnt matter at all about the cluster.
I would look in the Honda online repair manual and make sure it is adjusted how it should, after that, I would suspect that little switch is bad since I've personally had to fix one before (by spraying some wd40 into it, which made it work). I would also make sure your bulbs aren't corroded since if the grounds on them are no good, that could also make the entire circuit stick on (happens to a car of mine but it's wiring related for that).
Good luck, it shouldn't be a hard problem to fix.
