Default Brake help

Here's the deal, 92 civic hatch w/4 wheel disc, no abs. Everything has been changed which includes: master, booster, front and rear calipers and front brake hoses. THe problem is that after driving around for about 5 minutes the calipers will not release the rotors. If you jack the car up the wheels will not spin. If the car sits for about 5 minutes than it goes back to normal until you decided to drive again.

Anyone have suggestions??

The calipers are semi-seized?

I guess not. Was the brake system properly bled?

check your brake caliper sliding pins if they move freely, they may need to be cleaned and lubed. if good, check your brake lines are not crimped. other than that you may have contaminated brake fluid ..ie engine oil in brake fluid that can cause seals to swell...

Everything checks out, if you looked at the braking system it looks brand new. Tried again today and still the same problem.

OH. check your brake pedal free play. it may need to be adjusted. you probably have no free play and its simulating "riding on the brakes"
