why dont you just not drive your car or put an engine in it. why are you so worried about your engine compartment paint?

[QUOTEI don't want then for looks - I just want a safeguard should either of my master cylinders leak. I'd like to keep my paint nice under the hood, so the socks may help with that if brake fluid should ever leak out of the resevoirs. You know that brake fluid **** doesn't go well on new paint

Here you go, as you can see the Spoon ones are a darkish blue color, sure beats the pumpkin orange that Mugen has. And at $19.99 a pair? Cheapest Spoon **** i've ever seen. Now if they're CF wings can go for that much heh

im sorry, sometimes b18ehc just asks for it. contradicts himself so many times but is too cocky to realize or admit it.
he doesn't hesitate to point out other peoples flaws, nor should we hesitate to point out his flaws.
You figure how many times you have gotten slack here on the forums you would just think to yourself "there must be something wrong with me"
peace

Hey Brian, good suggestion! I'll just go grab some from my Grandfather's sock drawer!

I criticized a car that a COMPANY bought and then just threw a few extra parts on it and claimed it as theirs.
anyways, I've made my point.

Even if he does want them for looks, who gives a ****. It's his car, his money, he can do what teh **** he wants regardless.
Tom- The spoon ones are navy blue and are pretty neat looking. I think they just say SPOON on them.

It's a lot easier to catch a leak if you see it absorbed into a sock rather than not seeing anything.
If I wanted them for looks then the bright tizzite orange would be the obvious choice then huh? The entire braking system was installed for looks only, so true I need to complete the packsge with the socks.
