Default bottom-end rebuild

well i have a 94 del sol with 194,000 miles the lady i bought it from was like 50 yrs old so she didnt hot rod it (i should hope) and i was needing to know if it would be the right thing to do to go ahead and rebuild the bottom end , i was kinda wanting to know what parts to replace if any before i go buying performance parts or if i should just buy a bigger motor its just a 1.5

but if ive got the whole motor tore apart then should i replace any thing else or will stock internals hold up with that many miles ,and i was wondering if any one could tell me a ball park figure of the cost to rebiuld the entire bottom end

the amount of money and time your goin to spend rebuilding the little d, your better off just swapping in a whole new motor.

Or build a d series and then swap it in. thats what im doing. it gives you less down time with the car this way.

and plan ahead. are you goin to be just driving it? you might want to look at a simple b16 or b18. are you gunna be racing the **** out of it? look at the k20r or b18c or b16b motors.

if your trying to save gas and money all together and just drive the thing, swap in a d16z6 or y8 motor.

theirs so many things to think about in this situation.

well really its a daily driver when im not grounded i dont really care about gas prices yet but i want it to run at least low to mid 14s.....are there certain cars to look for at the junk yard for these motors ...should i even go to the junk yard for a motor???
