Post boost d16y8 or swap an h22a

I have an 00 civic ex. I need some opinions on what to do. I was thinking either boosting my d16y8 or swaping in an h22a.. Which would you guys do? I want to beat k-series,but not spend an arm and a leg to do it. Thanks for ur opinions..

boost the y8. it's cheaper, less hassle and come out with about the same HP on a mild boost setup.
