Keep in mind torque wrenches are not accurate at the extremes of thier scales ( it should say so in the product info supplied with it). I think its something like +- 5% for 20% of the full scale... So if your wrench starts at 20 even if calibrated right you still might be over 20 ft lbs when it clicks, although not by a rediculous amount.... Hence the necessity for different scales of wrenches...

Regardless i find it odd that these bolts are snapping within the proximity of thier torque spec....
