Blue Print for 13's with 95 Civic!
Here is what I came up with to get my 13's with my 95 Civic EX.. Tell me what you think and why.....
h22a Swap
Greddy Turbo Kit
DC Sports Header 2.5" Collector
Act Clutch street/strip
AEM Cold Air intake
MSD Ignition
Nology Plug Wires
Trust Exhaust
I think I should hit the 13's area with this set up.. It should cost me around $6000.

To put it nicley, you're an idiot. Sorry, I'm an *******.
You can't have a header and a turbo.
You can't have a turbo and an intake.
You can have a header and an intake.
In the world of real performance, the Greddy turbo kit is ****. And so is the H22.
If you turbo your engine right now, with tuning, good fuel managment and some other goodies, you could run 13's just fine.
You could also swap to a H22 and go all motor and run 13's.
You can do a lot of things, but what you need to do right this minute is SEARCH, READ and LEARN before you modify your car.
Here are some sites to help you out:

and of course Honda-Tech rules.

i started shaking my head when i saw that you wanted a greddy turbo and a dc header...but you'll learn. you can hit 13's just with the motor and intake/hotshot or imagine header/exhaust system/good clutch

Man, you can get in the 13's with the motor you have in there if you know what the hell you're doing. I would suggest doing lots of research on multiple setups and platforms before you throw your money at anything. You sound like you have a lot to learn. Nothing wrong with that, just don't throw your money away before you know what you're getting into. Good luck.

If you need an turboed hbomb to hit 13s in an eg, you need to take a few racing lessons. and second of all, do some research before posting. it'll safe you from looking stupid

Re: (v4lu3s)
just a warning bro, sleeve your block first before you go nos. my friend blew his 6000 dollar motor in less than a year. I mean its fast but you're going to burn your cylindar walls in nothing flat. But besides all that, GREAT JOB! i wish i ran 13s. I'm in a 99 si with full interior runnin mid 14s. I need to do something about my torque

I would have to disagree with you about the h22 being "****". It's actually a great motor that puts out loads of horsepower and torque while only weighting 35 or so pounds more than a b-series motor. It's also more cost effective than a c5 and has just as much if not more potential. I'm not trying to start another h vs b series war, just stating my opinion.

Okay kids play nice in here. The guy wants some help, so please offer some without the insults, thanks. IMO an H22A should land you in 13's without a turbo if you have the swap done right and you drive good.

i personaly think that the h series is a way better platform then a bseries thats my oponion....... i think if people started talking more about the h swap people would be more interested in it but all you hear about it b16 and b18c's ive seen fiew b series with bolt ons breaking into the 13's while most all h series swaps are in the 13's just my opinion

Re: (eghatch4sale)
Are you guys talking about the h22a on this web site http://www.japanstarmotor.com/honda.html I'm not trying to advertise for them but this is the cheapest place I have found this engine. Think it's a good idea to order from here?

Re: (BBailey)
There are some huge threads in here about where people ordered their motors from and how the motor/customer service was. I'd go with a more reputable show such as Import Auto Salvage (little pricey, but a COMPLETE swap). Most of the time if you find the cheapest place it will be missing some little stuff that you'll really need (axles, etc.)
