Blox Lower Control Arms...Stay Away!
Just a notice to anyone considering the more economical BLOX lower control arms to the many other, slightly more expensive options in the market...DON'T GET BLOX!
For $60-$70 more, I could have purchased Skunk2 or OmniPower LCA's, but I didn't and, after less than 8 months and 6,000 miles of average street driving, nearly every "hard rubber" bushing in my Blox control arms has deteriorated and is breaking out.
For those who would question the mechanical circumstances surrounding this part failure, my car is only 1" lower than stock, has never been in an accident and maintains alignment figures that would make the factory jealous!
The BLOX LCAs are great looking arms, but suffer absolutely horrible quality where it matters most. Learn from my experience and spend a few bucks extra for a better quality brand...Do NOT get BLOX lower control arms for your Civic or DelSol!
By the way...My BLOX front uppers are great! Go figure...

those inferior bushings no thanks lol.. i've had plenty of experience with poly urethane bushings -- they mostly suck

My 2nd gen Omnis were the same way. One bushing came out of its sleeve, and another one cracking. Omni did an exchange (plus price difference) for the new 3rd gen since mine were out of warranty. The new bushings were better and the fitment between the mounting points were way tighter preventing unnecessary movement that would cause premature failure. Never had my car too long after installation to see how well they stood up to time.

So you're going to run spherical bearings on the street?
OK! Let us know how that turns out!

yea i had blox and replaced them with skunk after like 2 k, That's what happens when you go cheap, send them back to blox, you might as well get a new pair they should exhange them if you tell them what happen, and then sell the new ones on ebay or something to try and get your money back.

I want to know how it is baller to rock:
A) M-Factory (a company who makes knockoffs)
and
B) Spherical bushings that make you ride like you're suspension is made of bricks.

It sure is, especially for a long time.
For me stock LCAs and OE replacement bushings work fine for street duty. Then again, I'm not one to hard park.

Please say that you properly preloaded the suspension before you torqued those bolts down.
If not, it's no surprise that they got torn up.

i've been running blox lcas for about five months and they work fine to me. just make sure you clock the bushings before you tighten them and it should be good

Ive had the same problem with my lca's that i ordered from them. Ive had them a little over a year and after about six months, i notice all the bushings took a ****. So i emailed blox and explained my problem, they told me to ship my lca's to them and they would either replace the bushings or give me a new pair. So i mailed them back and they had new bushings installed and mailed back within about a week. But hear it is again, 6 months down the road and they're doing the same thing again. Im not sure to send them back again and get another set of bushings installed or just order a set of skunk2's or omni.

x2... those bushings are "torsilastic" meaning they arnt suppose to be tightend until u lower ur car down to ride height, otherwise they are ruined. Same goes with stock LCA, bushings.
