Blox 21mm Sway Bar Install by Pendmn
When I bought this it didnt have any instruction manual and i couldnt find anything on how to install this product but i did see other people's install on rear sway bars. so the concept is pretty much the same deal.
This is what you get from Blox. The sway bar and hardware comes together. The adjustable endlinks are sold separately.
This is the hardware
I used a 5/16th drill bit to make the hole a little big so the screw fits perfect. originally on all EG chassis they all have a nut welded on it so all you do is screw the bolts in the holes of the subframe. unfortunate mine were horrible..
The subframe.
This is how the Bracket is supposed to look like
This is how the bolts are supposed to look on the Brackets also ignore the Bracket by the way its sitting i had it on Backwards because i thought my Tie bar wasnt going to fit so i faced it the other way.
This is my adjustable endlinks from Blox. Make Sure they are aligned with your lower control arm because if they are not they can cause serious issues in the long run.
Final Product
Hopefully this helps everyone with the installation of the Blox rear sway bar and endlinks for 92 - 95 EG civic and also 93 - 97 Del sol

keep those endlinks clean, and spray some WD40 on them every now and then.
I have them, and after about a year all 4 are chattering, vibrateing and overall just very anyoying.

Well all I keep hearing is how the 5th gen is LESS subject to tearout but that sub-frame looks just as flimsy as the 6th gen. At the very least think about getting a Beaks reinforcement kit.

gotta love chicago winters - 5 months of salt...
do yourself a favor on the endlinks - coat all the threads with antisieze if you ever want to adjust them again. WD-40 isn't enough for the salt...

I guess it's just the price you pay for buying cheep things.
F7/ASR are best, or Aurrora. However they will never last, sperhicals just don't last on the street.
I wasn't suggesting WD40 for the threads, just the sperhical. But he's right, put some anti-seize on them.
5th gen subframes don't suffer from the subframe tear out issues of the 96-00. I have never seen a 5th gen that suffed tear out.
People run ITR bars on them all the time and are just fine.

Subframe still good and strong. hard beating on the suspension in chicago. so just an update to you all. car is not driving in the snow so salt wont be my issue.

Hey Bro,
Thanks for the nice pics and info you shared, as well as the follow up 4-5 months later.
I have the same sway bar and end links ready to go in (waiting for the ASR brace before I put everything together) and this will be useful! Thanks again for sharing.

Just a quick question. I have a ITR rear sway bar with stock endlinks will it fit? Do I need adjustables ones? So 5th gen Civics are OK without a brace?

You need one of these:
ASR would work fine too, but the craftsmanship, quality, and fitment of the Function7 is a true engineering marvel. I knew it would be amazing, but I didn't know how amazing until I held this ridiculous piece of technology in my hands. Amazing company.

Theoretically yes the F7 is better. Slightly lighter I'm sure. The ASR was the original and is still cheaper. I bought mine back before F7 and such didn't have one out. I can't remember that the ASR came with instructions, or they were just crude and worthless. It seems the norm to have to figure all of this out on your own though.

I ordered mine from Kingmotorsports.
I was surprised, to be honest. I'm a smart monkey though,
Still, WAY worth the extra money for the outstanding quality and fitment of the function7 brace. Plus it accomodates even my funky progress swaybar no problem.

Talking about the LCA, why F7 are making spherical bushing on them? What are they used for?

Our standard poly bushing arms are covered by a lifetime warranty. The spherical bearing option is an extra $100, and the bearings do not have a lifetime warranty since they do wear out eventually.
