Default blown motor

I just bought a 1993 civic dx with the stock motor, D15B7. I would like to swap it for a d16 with vtec but how much would i have to do to make this swap work? Will the d16 bolt up to my current tranny? I assume i would have to change out the ecu. Any help would be great because i need to get this car up and running ASAP!!

no, ignore that guy.

it will bolt up to your tranny, but your tranny is geared higher

get the motor/tranny/ecu you can reuse your axles.
