Default blown diff in a EX trans turbo civic

I was just interested in seeing how many people have blown there differencals in there car. I just happend to me not to long ago it sucks. I don't beat on my tranny or lunch my car over 2500rpms I think I just have to much traction and my turbo spools to quick. I have a D16Y7 with a EX transmission with 10lbs flywheel, ACT 6 puck clutch, Xtreme Pressure Plate, Motor mount inserts, and Jim Fab Cross Member and a Apexi turbo running 9psi. I am going to get a LSD but I don't know if my tranny will hold all the power. if you have any suggestions pleas fell free to add you thoughts.

if you didnt break the diff, you probably would have cracked the case. with that clutch setup, you will need to go a little easier on the shifting. input shaft bearings go as well.

Thats funny that you brought this subject up because it happened to me just recently. I was at the track, tried launching a little high, got some wheel hop, and bamn!, diff blew right out. There was a nice hole in the trans case and everything. Luckily I wasn't "that guy" who spilled oil on the track. When the case was taken apart, it was just like thrashed and broken pieces of the diff everywhere. My gears were in perfect shape so the next day they were put into a different trans that had a blown synchro and total down time was about 12 hours or so.
for nobody wanting d-series parts. send them my way.

You can see my setup at my website: http://www.geocities.com/boostsohfast
