Blinker Question...
Hello,
My girlfriend has a 1998 Civic Sedan EX with approximately 195,000 miles on it and I do all of the mechanical work on it.
I have one question though...
Her left blinker will sometimes blink really quickly. I checked both bulbs and they are fine. Checked the fuses and all are fine.
Recently, it started blinking really slowly. Like one blink every two seconds.
Again, both front and rear bulbs are fine.
When I turn the hazards on, both right and left blinkers blink at normal speed.
Any idea what could be the issue?
Faulty relay perhaps?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, and I recently disconnected the negative battery terminal to do some work under the hood, and the left blinker went from blinking very slowly to blinking quickly again.
It's pretty random at this point.

Re: (jadugartir)
Ok, thanks.
I checked the bulbs with a multimeter to see if they were drawing a low voltage and perhaps tricking the car into thinking that one was out, and they seemed to be fine.
I'll try and replace them though and see if that fixes the problem.
Thanks again.

mine does it, its the connection. i can fix it by wiggling it and it stops for a little while, then i have to wiggle it again. the bottom of the bulb might be burned and not connecting good. check the wires going in, the connectors, and the bulbs.
