Black EG/DC2 Carpet in an EG Hatch with an Integra dash conversion?
Hey,
I know u can get black integra carpet into an EG and it is a near perfect fit but at the back the carpets a little short near the seats, i dont understand why people do this if u can get EG carpet in black, surely that would be a perfect fit. Maybe its hard to come across, or the integra carpet fits better around the arm rest? Does it just look nicer? Anyone know? It sure confuses me?
Im just wondering which carpet to source...
Thanks guys

Re: Black EG/DC2 Carpet in an EG Hatch with an Integra dash conversion? (Paul1985)
I have an EG hatch with Integra dash swap and Integra carpet. I got the Integra carpet because I had an easier time finding one. I was looking for an EG carpet but couldn't find a black one in good shape.
The Integra carpets fits alright, the main problem is in the footwell area. The Integra has plastic "kick panels" which cover the ECU and hood latch area. The EG's carpet covered these areas. So, if you get the Integra carpet get the plactic "kick panels" as well. You may need to modify the panels a bit to fit, but not to hard. Also, if you can get the styrofoam that goes under the console, its holds the carpet under the armrest a little nicer.
