Default Big Surprise, Fogs went out.

Password JDM fogs, 3 weeks after installation they stopped working. The switch still lights up, but the fogs dont. What should I look for first. It rains alot where I live, could some of the wiring in the bumper have gotten wet???

Is it the DEPOs they sell? If so then it's probably a bad ground.

I had DEPOs on my '98 EX coupe and had nothing but problems (repeated wiring issues - it would just flicker or stop working and start working if you kicked it, also leaked no matter how well they were sealed).

Switched to Esuse lights and haven't had an issue.

Before you go changing your relay, see if it clicks on and off when you press the button.

I was messing around with it today, and I could hear the relay go on and off. Also the switch still lights up. I also checked the grounds. The one under the hood was connected to the ground bolt, but i could pull it out without removing the bolt. I connected it as good as possible but they still didnt work. Also I am pretty sure the one under the dash is hooked up two but didnt get a good look. Anyone know what the problem would be. If Iwere to blow a fuse would the switch still light up??

i put some fogs on a 98 hatch back last summer, they were a depo kit the switch went out about 2 months later. does any one know where to get the switch for it? i was under the impression that the password switch and the depo switch weren't compatible. i would like to know. i know it is the switch because i ran a power wire from the fogs to the fuse box and they worked.

are you kidding? i have had my depos installed for over 8 months with NO issues. They survived a minus 40C* Canadian winter!, a lot of people disregard the fact you should wrap all the connectors in electrical tape to ensure they are completely waterproof and don't come disconnected by themselves.

just check all connections and grounds

My problem was inside the housing. Should I have wrapped them in electrical tape? I did silicone the entire front edge up (DEPO glass comes off the housing, unlike Esuse glass, which is permanently fastened to the housing), but they still filled with water.

I'm not the only one who has had repeated problems with DEPO foglights. So far all the issues I've heard about have been made by DEPO.
