which is better obd1 or obd2
one of my friends have a 93 delsol should he buy a 0bd1 b16 or an obd2 b16
help me out thanxxx or what type of motor-swap should he get do del sol's run good wit turbo or all motor

doesnt really matter since he is gonna run a OBDI ecu to have the right running swap.
But OBDI is more user friendly. easier to To search for a code.
OBDII is pesky as hell. throws alot more CEL than OBDI does. OBDII is more for Smog and environmental issues. OBDII requires 2 o2 sensors and will throw a CEL for a test pipe or a new header. and you got a sensor for the charcoal canister the knock sensor. so there is alot more wiring needed for a OBDII swap.
Id tell ur friend to stick with OBDI. less wiring. less headache in the future. Grab a P30 ecu or a chipped P28 and he will be happy.
