Best way to loosen axle nut?
I'm going to attempt to remove these nuts off the car so I can install the front Intera brakes, but I was wondering if there is any other "methods" to remove it? Like what kinda stuff can I spray on it to help it come of...

Pb Blaster helps. Just get a breaker bar and a pole an jump on it. It should come off.

When I had to get mine off.....I put the spare tire on the car and lowered it.......on the spare tire you can get to the bolt w/ the tire on.....so put that on, get a rachet w/ a nice breaker bar and it should do you just fine!

The best way to get them off is to go down to your local family operated tire shop and ask for a favor. Tip them 5 bucks after they break out the big air tools and loosen that **** up. Then tighten it down with a breaker bar and get it home. Coat it with anti sieze.
It was difficult even for their bigger air ratchet. There was no way I could have gotten it off. I broke a breaker bar and almost my ***, and I live in a mild climate where stuff like this isn't supposed to happen.

1/4" ratchet?! That cracked me up. I hope you aren't serious.
On a more serious note, I don't recommend using ratchets at all, of any size. This is what breaker bars are for. Unless you like picking up the internal parts of the ratchet after it explodes.

I don't recommend putting anti-sieze on something like that. With the amount of torque that it gets tightened too, even a slight coating of anti-sieze could and most likely will cause a torque multiplying effect. This will cause it to over tighten and make it very very difficult to remove the next time.

I wouldn't use a piece of PVC. The PVC is going to be too flexable and won't do any good for you. It might cost a little more but get the steel pipe, it's worth it.
The way I get my axle nut off is, I use a 1/2" drive breaker bar with a 5 ft. steel pipe on the end as a cheater and it breaks it loose nicely. I also leave the car on the ground so I don't need someone to hold the brakes.

Re: (eL)
if your just changing the calipers and rotors there is no need to take the axle nuts off unless your changing the whole hub assembly. I broke mine off w/ a 1/2" electric impact wrench it only took like 5 min. but it eventually broke loose the trick is not to slip off and be persistent you'll get it.
BTW try using a steel cheater on your breaker and have somebody help push the car in the correct direction while you make sure that it doesn't slip.

1/2" breaker bar and a 4 ft extension. Make sure the car is in gear and the ebrake is up or you could just strat moving the whole car make sure to use lifetime warranted breaker bars and sockets too.
And impact gun would make quick work of it though.

1. impact
2. 1/2" drive breaker bar and the handle for your floor jack and a buddy on the brakes or u could try removing it with a center cap out and the car on the ground

And when it explodes and you end up in the emergency room with three feet of poly vinyl chloride (PVC) hanging out of your left lung, we'll all make a post entitled, "Darwin strikes again!!!!!!1!!one!!".
