Best Tires to buy for my 15" Steelies for winter months.
I am just asking for suggestions on new tires for my 15" steel wheels. I want something that is good on dry days and descent in the snow. I'm thinking dunlop Sp 5000's or bridgestone RE950's. but im not sure about the 950's because the closest size to stock is 195/60/15. Sp 5000's are readily available in sizes that should work. Any other suggestions?? I'd rather not buy winter tires because I still want to have descent traction on dry days and in rain. I know all seasons never perfectly compromise but thought I'd see If anyone has some help for me
thanks,
Larkin

Michelin and Pirelli make nice snow tires, dunno the names of them or prices but they have them at www.tirerack.com. They sell packages. You can get them already mounted (for free) on some steelies, if you want, for a decent price.
